About the role:
As the PtP Manager at DFDS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes and the efficient management of vendor relationships. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, guiding them through assessments, coaching, and training to uphold our standards of excellence. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to spearhead process improvements and system implementations to drive efficiency and enhance our service delivery.
As a PtP Manager at DFDS, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the (80+) Accounts Payable department, driving standardization and process excellence with E2E understanding
- Leading the transformation of PTP toward being more efficient, structured and collaborative.
- Establishing and maintaining close relationships with stakeholders (various levels up to CFO), identifying key areas for improvement in service delivery that generates value.
- Identifying, recommending, and assisting in the implementation of improvements to enhance efficiency and drive change.
- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures by developing and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies.
- Leading the transition of new processes into the SSC and implementing supporting solutions.
- Providing support to team leads development through assessment, coaching and training.
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A strong knowledge of finance and accounting with a proven track in process improvements.
- Approximately 5-10 years of combined accounting and finance experience, including leadership roles in transactional accounting teams within an SSC/BPO environment.
- Experience in driving multiple & simultaneous changes to process, people and systems.
- Ability to be a partner for value driven discussions on both strategic and tactical level with great collaboration skills, and eagerness to challenge current status on MD/ VP level across whole DFDS to drive value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, customer service skills with continuous improvement & change management mindset.
- Exceptional people management skills with minimum 2-3 years of experience in leading other leaders.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
