About the Role:
At DFDS, we are undergoing a transformative journey, digitizing our back-office operations. The core of this initiative is the implementation of a cutting-edge ERP system for our Group Finance and Procurement departments. We are now in the deployment phase, embracing Microsoft Dynamics, including D365 Finance and multiple ISVs, as we transition away from our legacy financial systems.
The role as a D365 functional specialist encompasses diverse responsibilities that will evolve as the project progresses from implementation to a fully operational system. You will be an integral part of a highly skilled international team, located in DFDS’ offices in Istanbul, Poznan and Copenhagen. This position will reside with the Poznan office. The team encompasses 10 senior profiles with extensive expertise in providing technical support and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO.
Key Skills & Competencies Required:
Collaborating with your fellow colleagues in the D365 Operations team, you will be responsible for providing second-level support and managing the applications of our new ERP system. Your proficiency in the MS Dynamics application suite, including D365 Finance/AX 2012, will be instrumental in this role.
Furthermore, we are seeking an individual experienced in end-user support. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting our users during their transition to the new ERP system. This will require you to be service-oriented, patient, an effective communicator, and skilled in multitasking.
The job consists of the below tasks:
- Providing support to D365 FO users locally as well as across the entire DFDS group
- Managing support tickets and documenting change requests
- Staying updated on new features and functionality in Microsoft releases
- Offering support to various business areas, including Finance and Procurement
- Lead and participate in various continuous improvement activities to improve our ways of working locally
The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Proficiency as an adept D365 FO user
- Comfortable with cross-departmental communication in English across various global locations
- Previous experience in support or operational roles related to ERP systems
- Proficient in structured problem-solving and experienced in root-cause analysis
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical users
- Previous experience with financial modules is highly advantageous
- Extensive experience within AP and/or GL modules is preferred
- Familiarity with ITIL practices is a valuable asset, but not a requirement
