Data Visualisation Specialist in Technology & Innovation

About the role:  

In your role as a Data Visualisation Specialist, you will help us translate raw numbers into insightful dashboards that directly impact the decision making process in our organization. You will influence how we operate and assist DFDS in becoming a more data-driven company.  You will be part of an international team working cross-functionally with Data Engineers and Data Consultants to support our stakeholders in the Logistics division. 

When You Join Us, You Will:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize various data sets and provide actionable insights
• Work with data modelling and DAX queries to ensure scalability and good performance of our Power BI solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations
• Implement best practices for data visualization, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability of reports
• Work closely and share knowledge with other Data Visualisation Specialists working with different cross-functional teams
• Support our end users through our ticket system – TopDesk

About you 

As a Data Visualisation Specialist, you will have impact on how business decisions are made in our organization. You will play a key role in our mission to make DFDS a more data driven company. 

To help us achieve this we are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about working with data and data visualisation
• Has worked with data visualisation tools (Preferably PowerBI, but also Tableau, Qlik etc.)
• Has good communication skills allowing effective collaboration with teammates and stakeholders
• Likes problem solving and strives to get to the bottom of things
• Is fluent in English
• Is customer focused and detail oriented
