OtC Junior Accountant
About the role:
As an OtC (Order to Cash) Junior Accountant with a focus on Credit Control, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the credit and collections processes within the organization. Junior Accountant in Credit Control plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization while building and preserving positive relationships with customers. It's important for individuals in this role to be detail-oriented, communicative, and proactive in addressing potential issues in the credit control process
Your main scope of duties and responsibilities include:
- Credit Assessment: Evaluate customer creditworthiness.
- Credit Limits: Set and monitor credit limits.
- Payment Monitoring: Track and reconcile customer payments.
- Collections: Implement strategies for timely payments.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer interaction records.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with credit policies.
- Reporting: Generate reports on credit and collections metrics.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to address customer concerns.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service.

- Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance will be an asset
