About the role
As the Manager of Finance Controllers Team in the Finance Center of Excellence, you will be accountable for overseeing the controlling processes, including in particular internal controls, ensuring high quality, timeliness and accurateness. You will work closely with various departments to optimize E2E processes and improve productivity and quality.
You will play a vital role in internal control framework implementation and execution, ensuring high quality standards and risk mitigation.

As a Controlling Manager at DFDS, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Finance Controllers’ team, with a focus on ensuring operational excellence and high internal controls compliance standards,
- Identifying areas for improvement in service delivery, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to create value,
- Oversee financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards,
- Driving process improvement initiatives to streamline the controlling function and enhance productivity and quality
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations while managing risks and controls effectively
- Developing and coaching the team, promoting professional growth and high performance through continuous assessments and training.
About you
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related field
- Solid professional background in Controlling
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing teams
- Ability to drive change at both the strategic and tactical levels, with exceptional collaboration skills and a value-driven mindset
- Experience in managing high-performing teams and leading transformational/improvement projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting, with a proven track record in process optimization and improvement
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
