About the role
As a RtR Accountant, you will be part of a collaborative seven-person Polish Accounting Team. You will work closely with the Chief Accountant, handling accounting processes in line with the Accounting Act and Polish tax regulations, while contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory and group reporting.
You will collaborate with various teams: RtR, PtP, OtC, Master Data, ERP, HR, Controlling and engage with external partners, mainly service providers. Your work will help strengthen relationships, improve processes, and support the implementation of new solutions across the department and the organization.
You will be responsible for the:
- Processing purchase invoices in the accounting system
- Verifying purchase documents for accounting and tax compliance (CIT, VAT)
- Ongoing monitoring and reconciliation of vendor balances
- Verification and analysis of overdue payments
- Settling and posting business trips and employee expenses
- Verifying and reconciling settlement accounts
- Regular contact with internal and external stakeholders
- Posting bank statements in domestic and foreign currencies
- Supporting the preparation of payments
- Participating in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Supporting the annual audit
- Performing other tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant or Finance Manager
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting department
- Basic knowledge of accounting and tax regulations (CIT, VAT)
- English at a min. B2 level
- Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with D365 (nice to have)
- Willingness to develop in the areas of accounting and taxation
- Diligence and accuracy in working with documents
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, proactive attitude toward change
