About the role:
As a Customs Intern, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customs documentation for Western Europe. The purpose of this role is to ensure smooth and compliant transport of goods crossing international borders.
You will support the preparation of customs documentation required by the European Union regulations, including not only customs declarations but also various supporting documents necessary for import, export, and transit procedures. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with the Union Customs Code and supporting DFDS customs operations.
This internship is especially suitable for students or candidates who are available to work in the afternoons (between 12:00 and 22:00) and want to gain practical experience in an international logistics and customs environment.
Your daily tasks will focus mostly on:
Completing customs declarations and other supporting documents submitted in the name and for the account of clients
Confirming that all required data and documentation are available and correct for customs entry
Following group customs standard operating procedures
Resolving queries and issues related to customs processes
Maintaining good relations with customers and ensuring high-quality service (contact via email only)
About you:
We are looking for someone who has:
Very good command of English (min. B2)
Knowledge of the Polish language
Strong communication skills and joy of working with people
Attention to detail
A collaborative, team-player mindset
A good sense of humor! :)
Availability for approx. 25-35 hours per week, in the afternoons (between 12:00 and 22:00)
Readiness to work in a hybrid system - our office is located in Poznan
