D365 Operations Delivery Lead

About the role:
This role contributes to Atlas and the finance organizations success by providing timely and sophisticated support for all live legal entities in D365FO. Furthermore, the role ensures relevant project participation, audit prioritization and external vendor relationships. The Delivery lead ensures that planning and alignment are maintained, key stakeholders are kept informed , and risks and change requests are processed using correct governance. They coordinate and oversee the D365 Operations team, manage dependencies, and act as a central contact between end-users, finance and the Atlas programme.
In addition, the role drives effective communication by leading regular meetings, sharing updates, and preparing action plans. By partnering closely with the rest of the Atlas leadership team delivery leads, the role ensures stability in D365FO.
Beyond these responsibilities, the position carries accountability for all live legal entities in the production environment, including bugs, known errors and communication in critical and non-critical incidents.
Key responsibilities:
Planning and Alignment
Ensuring stable end user support in D365FO
Being responsible for the production environment in D365FO.
Ensuring clear processes and ways of working for the second level support.
Ensure and build Relationship with External Vendors like Microsoft, SKG, Pargesoft, Foriba, etc.
Follow SLA agreements with external vendors and escalate when bugs are not fixed on time by external software providers.
Consider and implement relevant improvements to ways of working, collaboration etc.
Ensure that security role setup lives up to security standards while also serving the needs of the business
Coordination and Oversight
HR management for a team of 12 internal persons in 3 different countries
Ensure external consultants and ISVs are utilized in line with D365FO standards
Ensure Audit requests are being processed
Ensure D365 Operations resources are available e.g. for testing of solutions, relevant projects etc.
Ensure adherence to relevant processes and governances such as change control board
Involvement in implementations to the degree relevant for D365 Operations
Meetings and Communication
Ensure timely updates to programme director and Atlas Leadership team regarding relevant topics
Ensure relevant stakeholders are kept close and informed
Ensure alignment between D365 Operations and relevant stakeholders in and outside of the Atlas Programme
Escalate and co-ordinate in timely manner to third level support for critical issues.
Co-ordinate with Build team on technical bug fixes.
Escalate to ACCB whenever bug fixes are not prioritized in timely manner

Technical skills:
Experience supporting a live D365 Finance & Operations production environment, including multiple legal entities
Strong experience in application operations / service delivery, including incident, problem, and change management
Experience managing external vendors and ISVs, including SLA follow-up and escalations
Good understanding of finance processes and business-critical systems
Experience working within governance frameworks, including audits and change control
Soft skills:
Proven people leadership experience, including managing distributed teams
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Structured, proactive, and accountable approach to work
