About the role:
As PtP Junior Accountant you’d be responsible for managing financial transactions related to procurement and payments for various DFDS entities. This role will involve invoices processing, accounts reconciliation with assistance of senior team members, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations, and assisting senior team members in maintaining accurate financial records. Junior accountant in PtP plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the finance department by contributing to cost control and vendor management.

Your main scope of duties and responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining excellent relationship with Suppliers and Local Business Units
Handling e-mails and phone calls related to payment statuses
Supplier ledger controlling with assistance of Senior Team Members
Supporting Team Members in month-end closing activities
Performing assigned tasks, including invoice processing and costing
About you:
We wish you to have/be:
Ability to build a good working relationship within the Team and with Suppliers
Confident in communicating in English during daily work
Diligent and accurate when working with documents
Interested in developing your career within Finance
Confident in communicating in English during daily work
Accounting knowledge and/or experience
Experience within D365 software will be an asset
