About the role:
In your role as a BI Analyst, you will help us translate raw numbers into insightful reports and data models that directly impact the decision-making process in our organization.
You will influence how we operate and assist DFDS in becoming a more data-driven company.
You will be part of an international team working cross-functionally with Data Engineers and Data Consultants to support our stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
Build and optimize semantic models to support scalable self-service analytics.
Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting and KPI requirements.
Translate business needs into intuitive and user-friendly reporting solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting standards.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data models, and user adoption.
Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to enhance data availability and quality.
Provide guidance to end users on how to leverage reporting assets effectively.
Support our end users' data queries through our ticketing system - TopDesk
About you
We wish you to have
Required skills:
Strong experience with Power BI development.
Good SQL skills for data querying and validation.
Experience designing and maintaining semantic models.
Good understanding of DAX and data relationships.
Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.
Strong understanding of reporting best practices and data visualization principles.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred skills:
Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
Familiarity with data governance.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Familiarity with AI tools
Experience:
~3 or more years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics.
Demonstrated experience delivering Power BI solutions used by business stakeholders.
Experience working directly with business users to define reporting requirements.
Track record of maintaining and improving semantic models and reporting assets.
